Fernie – The Jovian System [Indefinite Pitch]

The fog was a thick, viscous blanket that enveloped everything in a milky haze. You could barely see a few meters in front of you, the world reduced to a monochromatic blur. The air was heavy and damp, carrying with it an unsettling chill that seeped deep into your bones.

You lay there, your body aching, your mind racing. Where are you? How have you gotten here? The last thing you remember was a blinding flash of light, a searing pain, and then… nothing.

Slowly, You push yourself to your feet. Your vision is still blurry, but you could make out the faint outlines of towering mountain ranges. They are jagged and broken formations, their peaks disappearing into the fog. The landscape was desolate, devoid of any sign of life.

As you stumble forward, a strange sound reached your ears. It’s a deep, pulsing beat, a rhythmic throb that seemed to emanate from deep within the fog. Intrigued, you follow the sound.

After what felt like hours of trudging through the mist, you emerge from the fog to find myself standing before a colossal structure. It was a temple, its ancient stone walls weathered and worn. The beat was coming from inside.

Hesitantly, you push open the heavy wooden doors. The interior was dimly lit, the only source of light coming from a series of glowing crystals embedded in the walls. The air was thick with the scent of incense, and the beat was now deafening.

In the center of the temple, a massive circular platform pulsed with energy. A figure stood on the platform; their face obscured by shadows. The beat was coming from them, a powerful, hypnotic rhythm that seemed to permeate every fiber of your being.

You watched in awe as the figure floated about, their movements fluid and graceful. The sound grew louder, more intense, until it felt like the very ground was shaking. The temple seemed to vibrate with the energy, the walls shimmering with an otherworldly light.

As the beat reached its crescendo, a fast bright flash of light erupted from the platform, filling the temple with a blinding radiance. When the light faded, the figure was gone, leaving behind only a sense of peace and tranquility.

You step out of the temple, the fog now thinning. The sun was beginning to break through, casting long shadows across the desolate landscape. As you look back at the temple, you couldn’t help but feel a sense of wonder. “Where was I? How had I gotten here? And what was the meaning of the strange experience I had just had?”
