The warehouse hummed with a pulsating beat, the air thick with sweat and a haze of fog that filled the room. Anya was lost in the crowd, her body moving to the rhythm of the music. The lights flashed and danced across her face, casting eerie shadows that seemed to morph and change.
As the night wore on, Anya began to notice something strange. The walls of the warehouse seemed to be… moving. At first, she thought it was just a trick of the light, but then she saw it clearly. The once-plain concrete walls were now covered in vines and moss, and the faint outline of trees could be seen growing from them.
Panic started to set in as the walls continued to transform. The vines grew thicker, and the trees seemed to be reaching out for her. A low, guttural growl echoed through the warehouse, and Anya realized with horror that she was trapped in a living, breathing nightmare.
Here in this mix, I wanted to demonstrate a higher level of energy that is consistent with a packed dancefloor. As a collector and connoisseur of this music, it’s preferable I use the music to tell a story with a beginning, a middle, and an end. But on this day, I chose to lay down an armament of tracks that I feel represent what’s best of the nightlife. A relentless calling to the dancefloor.
